Amy has an M.Ed. in Higher and Post-Secondary Education, a B.A. in Creative Writing, and is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). She and Jac became friends when they met in a college creative writing class and Amy was the only person willing to sit next to Jac when she was sick. Though her Hong Kong-native father and nomadic-hippie mother met in her hometown in Arizona, Amy has spent her entire adult life trying to catch up on the 90s-00s pop culture references she missed because she grew up in China. She is an adrenaline junkie, meaning she devours smutty audiobooks on her daily commute, and has an LGBTQ romance novel in the works.

Jacqueline (or as her friends call her, Jac) has a masters in Comparative Literature from Queen Mary University of London and a bachelor's in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. It was at ASU in the creative writing program where Jac and Amy met and became best friends. Daughter to an immigrant mother from Chile, Jac grew up in California and was first introduced to the world of books and fantasy through Harry Potter. A self-proclaimed lover of smut, Jac has written two romance books herself and hopes to publish them in 2024.
